dude this shit is rad as fuck.

Lubloom responds:

Haha thank you! It was a lot of fun to work on :)

i'm firing on all cylinders this year. NGADM, NGUAC, maybe return to chips and kick ass again. should've pulled out of NGUAC tho, i feel bad for the newbies cos im not supposed to be in amateur.

anyway, great podcast! :D

btw, just a curious question, did you guys match us all on purpose? cos it's too coincidental :O

ChronoNomad responds:

Sounds like you're having a banner year, man! Can't wait to see what you and Lucid cook up for the Round of 25. The sparks are definitely gonna fly when you guys and etherealwinds bring your A-games to the table!

Thanks! I'm glad that you enjoyed it.

The match-ups? Oh, well...there was a very technical sort of wibbly-wobbly, timey-wimey method involved. I could tell you about it, but then I'd have to wipe your memory...

wait river styx was your too? :O

sneaky...

this track is real good my favorite in the contest.

LucidShadowDreamer responds:

River styx wasn't mine, but someone happened to think of a similar name :)
Thank you!!

:3 hey chron, do you have a secret robot to help you choose the submissions? cos i don't see how you can count ~200 submissions in a week.

nice work man!

ChronoNomad responds:

A secret robot would be nice, but I have something even better! A handful of talented musicians who can double as highly capable NGADM Hands of Fate. Each one of us is judging every single entry, and that just shows how dedicated these folks are. I was fully prepared to split the workload in half, but these guys were like "No way! That's for wimps."

Ultimately, listening to and scoring each track is a massive undertaking, but totally doable. Thanks for the feedback, man!

fuck america.

maybe i'm gonna start to like pop again, thanks to this... maybe i'll like to turn on the radio again...

Everratic responds:

haha thanks!

I'm actually not a fan of pop music myself even though I gravitate toward making my compositions upbeat, simplistic, and catchy.

If you want to listen to a pop song that sounds kinda like mine, try listening to "People Like Us" by Kelly Clarkson :)

rip my ears. what the fuck is it with all these EDM asshole overcompressing their track.

PancakePocket responds:

:) :) :) :) :)

beautiful. absolutely beautiful work. im speechless.

etherealwinds responds:

oh wow. i love you <3

wow this is a lit track dude. GO JORDI GO!

etherealwinds responds:

I NEVER UNDERSTOOD WHAT LIT MEANT! I always thought it was just a lazy shortening of the word 'literally'... damn American slang. I'mma take it as a compliment though! I'm guessing it's like, dis track is lit bro lyk fire, ur on fire bro x0x0

anyway, yes, thanks! good luck with the audition process!

only few tracks i voted full scores (everything). you captured the feel right on man. it's beautiful and sweet, yet so desolated in some way. like the blow of wind in the dark. gentle but lonely. how the heck did you play the piano so gently? :O this is amazing in its own way man. just great!

im glad your track is real good here! :)

LucidShadowDreamer responds:

Aww, thank you for the pretty review :'3
I wanted to capture what I felt in the artpiece that was suggested for inspiration, for the contest. I was really taken by how incredibly beautiful it was, in its loneliness. I improvised this during the night, when my dad was sleeping. Ofc, I wore headphones, but I wanted to play the keys gently most of the time, as to not disturb him. I still played a bit louder on the more dynamic parts though.
I'm glad to hear you like it! :D

If you can't reach me in time for permission, feel free to go ahead use my work anyway.
